Dadaism and Creative Rebellion

Creative Rebellion refers to a madness that is sane when it needs to be; where rebellion and madness are the essential ingredients for a creation! Dada was an artistic and literary movement that began in Zürich, Switzerland.
In this workshop we will: -
-Mystify and demystify DADAISM
-Discuss the DADA roots of creative rebellion
-Establish linkages between creative rebellion and contemporary art
-Provide for experiential DADA activities to intrigue and inspire

About the Facilitator: Jessica Singh

Interdisciplinary artist | Social Development Professional | Author

She is a professional social worker; an Oxford graduate who specializes in gender and education. Her first book, ‘When Love Lived Alone’ has prose poems with illustrations and the second is a story contribution to an anthology, ‘Stories We Don’t Tell’. She is a certified Reiki and Pranic Healer practitioner who prefer to design her own spiritual healing path through art.
